“Very pale gold. Smells very much like a white Douro rather than like a port because the alcohol is really not obvious from the aroma. There’s a light note of apricot and oatmeal-influenced citrus. So much more interesting than your typical white port. Rich and viscous on the palate. It is certainly sweet but the freshness undercuts the residual sugar. This is serious white port style and should age well.”
