“The 2019 Breton comprises 100% Cabernet Franc with 65% whole-bunch ferment, aged in used oak. The compelling bouquet of cedar- and tobacco-infused black fruit is very intense and beautifully defined. The medium-bodied palate is fresh and vibrant, with grainy tannins, tobacco, sage and white pepper on the finish. Alongside Raats, this is one of the Cape`s finest exemplars of the grape variety.”
