This Mentor release (90/10% cabernet sauvignon/ malbec) has a super bright aromatic profile, no doubt from that wee bit of malbec lift, with pure blackberry, blueberry and cassis notes meshing seamlessly with hints of fine spice, earth, licorice, cedar and scattered herbs. Support comes in the way of fine, sandy tannins and the wine elegantly sails off into the distance showing plenty of drive and fruit purity. Great value.”
