“The 2021 Ebenzer Shiraz is aromatically bursting with cassis, blackberry pie, salted licorice and cocoa dust. There is blueberry coulis, too. In the mouth, the wine is unfettered, supple and elegant, and the tannins are wrapped around a core of pure fruit. It is crystalline, in a way. Chalky and shapely. Very, very good.”
