“A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc from the estate’s lower elevation vines, the 2022 Noi4 spent eight months in 40% new French oak barrels. It has a deeper, purple-toned color and reveals more depth on the nose, with aromas of candied lavender, blackberries, sweet Mediterranean herbs, and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied with ripe tannins, an inviting, juicy midpalate, and a lightly savory finish with notes of tea leaves. It’s a lovely wine at this early stage and should have a wide drinking window over the coming 8-10 years.”
