“Black fruit – quite a bit more restrained than their Poissenot and Petite-Chapelle. Really well formed… one for the longer haul.”

“(from 65-year-old vines): Bright, deep red. Medicinal black cherry and minerals on the reticent nose. Densely packed and youthfully imploded, showing little in the way of early sweetness. The pungent black cherry, blackberry and licorice flavors show terrific clarity and class but will require extended aging to blossom in bottle. The tannins spread out to saturate the entire palate on the long, perfumed, violet-tinged finish.”
